The Voltiano lighthouse is located on the top of Monte Tre Croci, near the Brunate funicular station. It is 29 meters high and was built in 1927 to commemorate the centenary of the death of Alessandro Volta, the scientist from Como. The panoramic balcony of the lighthouse can be accessed via a spiral staircase with 143 steps.
