The Viscontea island is an island located in the Adda river, near the village of Pescarenico in Lecco. It is thought to have been created from material excavated from both banks of the river when its bed was widened, and was then used as a fortification for a long period. The house on the islet, which has a rectangular plan with a two-storey turret, dates back to the eighteenth century.
