The cabinet of Francis I is located in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. It was housed in the Salon des Cinq-Cents, which was used for meetings of the municipal council and was modified to accommodate the audiences granted by Francis I. Giorgio Vasari built a raised gallery in the living room, where there are several 16th-century statues.
