The Mausoleum of Bernabò Visconti is located in the Chapel of San Donato in Milan. It is a 15th-century funerary monument that is considered one of the most important sculptures of the late Italian Middle Ages. Bernabò Visconti was a tyrannical lord of Milan, and the mausoleum depicts him in his armor decorated with the wurm coat of arms, mounted on a sturdy battle horse.
