Jacopo de' Barbari was an Italian Renaissance painter. Born around 1440 in Venice, he stood out for his skill in the art of engraving and oil painting. He is known for his paintings of landscapes, portraits, and still life scenes. One of his most recognized works is the "Map of Venice," a detailed representation of the city in a unique perspective. He is also credited with creating the first known image of a keyboard musical instrument, the clavichord.
