The Transfiguration of Christ is an important episode of the Bible, described in the Gospels. In short, the episode recounts that Jesus took with him three of his closest disciples, Peter, John, and James, to a mountain called Mount Tabor. Once there, Jesus began to radiate a bright and intense light, and beside him appeared Moses and Elijah, two important figures from the Old Testament. This event is often interpreted as a demonstration of the divine nature of Jesus and as a moment when God confirms his mission. During the Transfiguration, a voice from heaven says, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him" (Matthew 17:5). This account is considered a moment of great revelation for the disciples, who better understand the importance of Jesus and his mission.
