The Domus Augustana was an imperial residence located on the Palatine Hill in Rome. It was built during the time of Emperor Augustus and served as the official residence of the Roman emperors. The Domus Augustana was known for its luxurious gardens, reception halls, and entertainment areas. Although much of the structure is now in ruins, remnants of mosaics and mural paintings that adorned the walls can still be appreciated.
