The Amsterdam Stock Exchange Building is a red-brick masterpiece located along the Damrak in Amsterdam. It was designed by the architect and designer Hendrik Berlage between 1898 and 1903. Berlage aimed to create a simple, practical building with features reminiscent of medieval architecture. Today, the building functions as a cultural center with spaces for conferences and exhibitions, as well as a café adorned with Art Nouveau inspired wall paintings by Jan Toorop.
