The second floor of the Marès Museum is almost entirely taken up by a "museum in a museum", which is called the Collector's cabinet: it has a collection of tens of thousands of objects that testify to the lifestyles and customs of the past, and especially the 1800s. There is more than you could ever imagine: fans, watches, jewelry, photographs, toys, keys, bottles, reliquaries, glass, pottery... and everything is presented in an intimate atmosphere that evokes the private world of its owner. Eventually you'll reach Marès' library-studio, with some sculptures made by the master himself.
