Yoshio Taniguchi is a Japanese architect known for his modern and minimalist design. He is famous for his work on the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, where he carried out an expansion and renovation in 2004. Taniguchi has also designed other notable buildings in Japan, such as the Toyota Art Museum and the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo. He is recognized for his ability to combine contemporary aesthetics with Japanese cultural traditions.
